Elaine Ng, a veteran with more than 17 years of experience, of which at least 13 years in management roles, continues to demonstrate her dedication, passion and leadership in the early childhood care and education arena. Her portfolio includes professional experience in pre-school education as an educator (lead teacher, principal and associate trainer), consultant, Program Director, Curriculum Development and Operations Director and Senior Vice President for Enrichment & Overseas Operations for independent preschools and large preschool groups.
Elaine's expertise in spearheading and implementing the full spectrum of Early Childhood programmes has won recognition and support from her former employers and co-workers. They included KidsEmpire, iHappyChild Learning International @ the Esplanade, The Little Skool-House International, NTUC Childcare Co-operative Ltd, KinderWorld Educare Centre, Cambridge Child Development Centre and Kinderland Educare Centre. She has accummulated an extensive track record in pioneering and managing childcare centres startup (local and overseas), developing and delivering developmentally appropriate curriculum and childcare operating systems, planning and implementing professional training and exchange programmes for local and overseas teachers.
As much as she believes in educating and cultivating young talents, Elaine leads by example in her continuous pursuit of higher education in Early Childhood Education and achieving exemplary results. Elaine earned a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Univ. of South Australia and she has been mentoring and doing field practicum supervision for Early Childhood student teachers (diploma and degree level) from various institutions such as Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Learning Capital and Monash University. She is currently lecturing the Certificate in Preschool Teaching and Diploma in Early Childhood Education with SEED Institute, Ngee Ann Polytechnic and Singapore Polytechnic. Elaine oversees all curriculum and programme development as well as training for both The Living Language and The Learning Connections.
